About Me

(Dhidhak Collections / Turkey 2017)

Half my life was lived outside my home country, pursuing my passion and exploring new cultures as I go along.

Not being married gave me the freedom to be where I want to be when I want to be. But I always try to return home to reconnect with my family.

My wanderlust lifestyle is in pursuit of a career that brings me to places that allows me to give and receive something in return. I meet people, visit places and experience life and cultures that changes me every day.

“People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost.” ― Dalai Lama

I mostly work overseas, and on the side, I travel to escape, to get away from a highly stressful job. A job that requires from me one hundred and ten percent every time. My escapades give me the chance to renew and recharge. Enrich my perspectives in life to keep on going to keep giving more than what is expected of me.

Being mobile all the time is not always peaches and cream, it can get lonely too. I lost touch with some friends because of distance, and my absence means that I missed out on many of my family and friends happenings – weddings, birthdays, Christmas, new years, etc.

I held on to the lifelong friends I have when growing up and gained a handful that I continue to communicate working overseas.  Others just fade away from me or I from them … I lost touch, I forget but those that remain, I cherish.

That is one reason I write this blog – a way to reach out, to tell my thoughts and share my stories.  Writing is cathartic. It makes your thoughts, feelings, emotions real.

It is a way for me to tell my story, share my opinion, relive the stories of the past, thoughts of the future and of what is now, at present.
